You know who I don’t see enough of on the fashion blogs? Dollyrock. I don’t know why. Longetivy? Is it one of those places that we all know is there and assume everyone else knows is there so she doesn’t need any blog love?
I think it’s an uncanny nack she has for making either simple constructions lovely and unique, as well as producing very creative looks that are unique to her shop. I almost always run over weekly to pick something up because, as do many creators, she puts out new items discounted for the first 24 Hours – ROCK!
Personally I always think that’s such a great incentive to stay in an SOM or group. I love that we get deals and it keeps me coming back. I buy something ALMOST every week at Dollyrock – and I can’t say that of everyone.
This outfit comes with shoes but it was red and that means I have a moral obligation to wear my Dorothy Shoes from Digit Darkes and I think that everyone needs to understand that!
Also, another small confession.
I almost never shop at stores that someone who annoys me takes me to, that first time I go. Someone I just DESPISE took me to Sn@tch the first time…..and it took me months to get over it. Dollyrock – well someone who dresses like a blind hooker there, and I’m afraid I unfairly discounted this store for a long time because of the association.
And that’s fairly petty of me. I’ve got to stop doing that.
